Careless driving ticket accident

Today I was given a ticket for careless driving after being involved in an accident with a parking enforcement vehicle (ironic, yes very), was pulling out of a spot, didn't see him in my blind spot and bumped into him, not too much damage (scrapes and a dent), no injuries. I am only a g2 driver and this careless driving ticket will kill me.

Worth it just to go fight it myself with a reduced sentence or hire a traffic lawyer?
