What are some lesser-known, good quality MPH programs?

Hi all! This sub has lots of discussion along the lines of Columbia vs. Yale, or Johns Hopkins vs. Michigan, etc. These programs might not be an option for many of us either cost-wise or geographically. Those of you who went to smaller, cheaper, or otherwise lesser-known programs: what was your experience like? Where did you go and what was your concentration? Do you find that ranking matters at all? How easy was it to find research opportunities, or practicums/internships? Are you currently working in the field?

Just curious about schools that should be on my radar aside from the big ones. Thanks!
