I just quit my job after two months and it felt great

So i've texted something about my new boss being a dicka while ago and thinking about going to UX design instead of this, here goes.

I joined a local furniture factory company and had a design department boss, the guy quits after two weeks after I join in, now I get promoted with no raise,I didn't mind.My new boss is the actual CEO of the company, and the guy is a total dick, evreytime I do something he yells and shames no matter what,even if I know I did a good job,its fucking hell, the guy has no direction, he's no leader, and I'm terrified, two months in and a bunch of yelling , shouting,dissing and humilliation, I decide as of now, to quit(well my contract says i had to have 10 days before transition), and gawd, does that felt good,SO GOOD, I got another job lined up so I just wanted to let ppl know, DON'T LET OTHERS TRY TO LET YOU DOWN, I'm terrified cause he's askewed, 3 ppl left on the other department and now me.

Why am I leaving? the guy gives me assignments after another, but he doesn't have a timeframe or a certain goal, he wants me to work on evrey single assignment simultainously, the guy just rememmbers whom does he have to yell at and where's the error and asks why am I going so slow in a very unethical way, makes ppl feel down and tries to ashame them, he doesn't know anything about work ethics nor even design whatsoever and what it conveys. clearly there is a problem and I'm glad it ain't me.

Why am I sharing this with you?, This is the first time something like this happens to me, and I was really scared at work with that guy on top of the chain, and I'm still afraid until I stop working there, haven't talked to my boss about it yet(about quiting,..I sent an email to HR,copied him), he's in the other department.The thing is,there's a lot of pressure involved and this guy doesn't help at all, he's not letting me or anyone work properly and it's affecting my health and mind, I really don't wanna come back to work there anymore.( i mean, I have to wait 10 days).

Update: I just had the conversation with my boss,he acknowledged I didn't felt comfortable with the company's current situation and tried to explained himself about his behavior(obviously there's no justification for trying to solve problems by humilliating ppl) I swear to god, I saw a tear, then I had a tear, but one tear after another, Either one of those had to be a tear of joy, then he says"four more ppl left the other department last friday dead out of sight",no 10 day notice, no phonecall, they just slammed the door out, I swear I felt like a dumbass and then a tear of dumb came out after I left his office.
