This is not a debate for us.

People on the far right of Christianity openly advocate putting me to death for being a sodomite, then whine about how their free speech and freedom of religion are violated when there is a backlash. The mods of r/Christianity cater and accommodate these people in the name of debate. This is not a debate for many of us. It's not an abstraction. It's not even a matter of free speech. It's a matter of our right to exist.

What about my right not to be put to death for being who I am?

It is clear that you cannot be absolutely in favor of free speech for everyone. Some forms of speech preclude and have a chilling effect on others. It's not a question of "lol triggered millenials." People don't want to have to justify not being executed. You have to choose a side. And it feels like this place is far too hostile for people like me when people like kingdavidsroot or generallabour are given free reign in the name of mahfreedom.
