I've found a good alternate to the stealth archer build. It's a completely different fighting and playing style.

Alright so all you need for this overpowered magic build is to travel to any major hold or to the College of Winterhold. The magic you will need for the build is pretty cheap, so simply purchase the "Bound Bow" spell and activate it.

Now, this spell works best at long range, so you may want to level up Sneak to not get detected by enemies. This spell has 100 blasts before it de-activates, so don't worry about magicka cost! Recommended starting class would be Wood elf (because magic and elves, duh), Redguard (+10 to one-handed, spells are cast with one hand), or Khajiit (cats love chasing lights).

This build is great for getting into the magic system of the game, and really utilizes the key features of magic: shooting something, expending a resource as a cost, and then killing the enemy. It's very rewarding to play this style, and is the best way to play differently than the typical stealth archer character!
