It seems to reach GM or Top 500 you have to be as much of a good teacher as you are a player. Does anyone else think this is wrong?
Title.
Yes I realize that this isn't as much of a problem for probably most people, but is it just me that or a main deciding factor of SR is how good and patient a teacher you are?
This extends to the pro scene and how good teams are too. I just feel a team of people who are the best at their own thing led by a manager that teaches them/helps them with their weaknesses/mistakes is better than 6 players who spend part of their time getting better and part of their time teaching others.
It wouldn't be a problem if it were easier to get on pro teams, but as it stands unless you are truly exceptional you have to be on top of the ladder to get picked up.
