Is it legitimate for me to block/ban right wing trolls when I can't debate them?

I don't want to block right wingers because I feel obligated to debate them instead of just shutting them down, but I got a bunch of right wing trolls that just use insults and non-logic in their comments. Is it justified to block them if they just troll and don't even try to use shitty right wing arguments?
