dark knight or kunoichi?

hey, i'm relatively new to bdo, after many years of playing wow and other shitty mmo's. i'm having a very difficult time choosing between the kuno/dk. i usually aim straight for rogue-like classes in mmo's, which makes me want to play kuno. however, i've been reading a lot about kuno, and how they're particularly weak in pvp unless your ap is higher than others. also, i have also read that grinding speed with a kuno vs a dk is a MAJOR difference, with dk's farming/grinding 10x faster than a kuno. people make it out that kuno is a dead class, is that true? is kuno really as bad as people say they are in pvp, or are they good? i know these two classes are opposite on the spectrum of melee and ranged, but i'm still having trouble :(

(please don't say "play what you want", i love the kuno but i'm not trying to dumb 1k+ hrs to a shit class that won't be touched by devs)
