How to put music data on external SD card?

So I have an old Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 which I don't use anymore so I decide to just put music on it but I don't know how to put the music files in the SD card I bought. All the music is in the internal memory which takes up so much space, is there a way to put all the music data in the SD card? I have another Galaxy Tab and all the music, pictures and storage goes to the SD card but I forgot what I did to do that.
