I feel like echo should get a bonus for stopping a plant to end the round

I've won rounds before by clutching as echo, and as glorious as they are, there are many times when I win rounds with him and receive no more than +10 points worth of credit. Why do I get 2 spots worth of recognition on the leaderboard for stopping the plant and winning the round? It's not a massive deal or anything. I just feel like support players don't get the love the deserve on the leaderboards
