So I Hooked a Thrall

As the title suggests... I Hooked a Thrall playing as Stitches. I hit him as he casted Sunder. He got pulled into us, then proceeded to cast Sunder point blank on us where I pulled him to.

Is this 'as intended'? This is the first time I had seen this. And I honestly didn't expect it. It felt wrong.
