Anyone else sort of wish counterspell weren't a thing?

Counterspell isn't that great for gameplay IMHO. Both casters often end up just spamming it. It promises to make wizard duels more interactive but I find it rarely does so. Without it Wizards can still find ways to try and thwart each other's battle plans but have to be more thoughtful and diverse in their tactics.
