RX480 new driver and lost hdmi audio output
Computer Type: desktop
GPU: RX 480 8gb Nitro
CPU: i5 2500k
Motherboard: p67 pro3 asrock
RAM: 8 gig
PSU: enough
Operating System & Version: Windows 10 with all newest updates
GPU Drivers: 17.4.4 although shows 17.10.something for some reason
Chipset Drivers: i don't know and it doesn't matter
Background Applications: doesn't matter, occurs all the time
Description of Original Problem: I had the HDMI audio output running audio from the speakers of my BenQ GL2460 monitor, and since updating the drivers I lost it. I also updated Windows at around the same time so might be it as well. The HDMI audio output is literally nowhere to be found, not even in the device manager. My guess is the monitor got somehow recognized wrong and Windows now thinks that it doesn't have the speakers. Weird.
Troubleshooting: Did a clean install of the drivers, even saw the HDMI Audio driver being installed (took pretty long which is weird). Tried uninstalling just the HDMI audio driver. Tried reinstalling again. Nothing works.
EDIT: Right after installing 17.4.4 it appears but after a reboot disappears again WHAT THE FUCK
