Question about colonising

Is it worth to recall a colonist in the early game and send him to other colony if i wiped the natives. I am currently playing as Vijayanagar and am colonising Indian ocean islands and then will go into Africa. Also what ideas are good to take as Vijayanagar, i currently have exploration and expansion, and am planning to colonise all game and take over all of India and Indonesia
