PLEASE HELP! First Post with severe schiz fears
This is my first post on the OCD subreddit, and I've been putting it off but at this point I feel so broken and I just need some reaffirmation or rational words to calm me. For months now I've had a constant fear of developing or actually being schizo. It stems I believe from severe hypochondria and health anxiety about 9 months ago. Long story short, despite having no obvious history of mental illness in my family, I've become obsessed with the idea of having schiz - I can't even spell it out fully because the name scares me a lot - and it's really affecting me socially and at school. I spend so much time worrying about whether or not my internal monologue is 'sch' voices, because I can imagine my thoughts in any manner of Accents (As though I'm putting an accent on my internal monologue). It's not as though im hearing someone talk to me, it's more like I think in different accents depending what I'm doing (maybe as a creative person I have a good imagination) but even so. I overthink absolutely everything and it's led to me feeling quite spaced out. As well as this I've been sent threatening messages by my ex's new boyfriend who is very popular in a social scene I'm in which makes me paranoid that he's out to get me. I have taken multiple psychosis tests every day online and I've had psycho analysisfrom a therapist who deemed me a normal boy but I can't get the fear that I'll become delusional and paranoid about the world, which already feels so strange to me, (perhaps as the result of the severe anxiety I cause myself) just looking for rational words and relatable experience thanks everyone
