Pay attention to what's going on or you'll miss opportunities

So I was out at the bar with friends tonight, I wasn't out to meet anyone, just having a relaxing Friday night out.

Well, near the end of the night, a couple cute girls walk in, not regulars, so I don't really think anything of it.

Bit later, I walk up to my friend at the bar while she's talking to one of the girls and join in the conversation, soon my friend wanders off. Well she noticed that the new girl and I clicked, and decided to disengage to let me do my thing.

I failed to notice this clicking, and thought we were just casually conversing about comic books, video games, and other such nerdy pursuits.

Now with the benefit of hindsight, and being yelled at by multiple people for not realizing what was going on, I can easily see the signs. Leaning in, brushing up against me, rubbing her leg against mine.

So guys, shit happens even when you aren't actively pursuing it, hell sometimes because you aren't actively pursuing it.

Treat women like human beings instead of objects in which to put your penis, learn how to hold a conversation, and for the love of fuck, pay attention to the signs.

Also, if your friends are the kind to notice this sort of thing better than you, tell them to text or message you, instead of just walking away and thinking that that is am obvious signal.
