[META] Invasion of the bots in comments - helpful or not?

I guess as the sub gets more views and bigger it seems like more and more bots are scrubbing comments and linking into the comment sections.

It's not annoying level yet for me personally but it's getting noticeable so what does the community think - I know this is something the Mods would no doubt be discussing and I am certainly not trying to pull a HerpDerp - but I am interested to see other peoples opinions?
