Virus problem

I have played over 80 hours of trove. And one day when I clicked it on my desktop a message appeared to tell me that my anti virus siftware had detected malware. It then proceeded to run disinfection and get rid of it, but when I clicked on trove again it said that glyphclient.exe was not in the files and wouldn't open unless I installed it again. The same for atlas reactor. Is it safe to reinstall?
