Stuck in the endless cycle of new hardware.

I need your help r/pcmasterrace I'm currently stuck in the endless cycle of new hardware coming out, I get set on one build and then it seems a new bit of kit comes out and I alter it again and again. My question you is should I just pull the trigger? As shallow as it sounds I want to have the best of the best hardware. Also what's your thoughts on the intel Cpu's coming out? Should I settle for the Ryzen or should I wait? Too many questions to ask any help/feedback would be greatly appreciated, Thanks!
