7x01 rewatch- that Hanna dream
•No1 why Spencer? If it was just a comfort thing I would assume Hanna would dream up Emily. If it was about brains? She has Mona, she has Caleb. •Spencer no bangs- felt this was a bit odd •No I won't let that happen- to which hanna replies that she can't as "this is a dream" and she's "not real". Spencer looks really quite taken back that hanna thinks it's a dream. Watch her eyes!!! •A dream is an experience and an experience is real •"AD" first time we get this •If there is a way in there is a way out- this reminds me of Mona and radley •No watch- at the end they zoom into her stroking Hanna's hair but all I could think was NO WATCH • there is no fade in or out like a dream, like with some of the other "dreams" we've seen, no weird dream like camera angles etc •Ali parallel- wasn't a dream. We saw Ali and thought the girls were dreaming •"Something real is actually existing as a thing or occurring in fact"- so this is the actual definition of the word "real" except for the end part which is- "not imagined or supposed."
I know a lot of you seem to think this was Twincer but I actually get more Spencer vibes from this like actual old school, smart arse, caring Spencer. The way she looks at Hanna when she "wakes up" is like you've just seen an old friend for the first time. "You got this, you're going to be okay" why would Spencers evil twin say this to Hanna? Why would she care? If they're going the twin route I'd really like THAT to be the real spencer. I get Ali dead feels when I watch that scene, when they had the dream she saved them or whatever- could be the same thing.
Spencer is Twincer and whoever that is was spencer (now I'm ranting)
