Nervous to Find an Online Group

As the title explains I'm super nervous about finding a new online group to play with because of so many things.

1. it feels like there is an ungodly amount of work in trial and error of finding the right people for you.

2. I'm always worried about gming for a group that knows the rules better than me for a game and constantly screwing it up.

3. I'm scared that because I'm female that I'll be treated differently

I've been gaming with the same group for a few years... But it's time I've moved on. Does anyone have some tips?
