What happened to "Share link" ?

It seems this option was removed from the tool box. I haven't had the need to use to truthfully, but I have a question about it.

Was it able to scan for apps present on the PC, say Discord and share it there(of course further settings will be required such as to whom to send it) ? If not, what do you think about such an option ? Kind of like People for Windows 10 will work - sharing something through your favorite app within the People app.
