[KDE, Ubuntu 16.04] connecting with android device doesn't work in any way.

Hi there! I've been using KDE for more than a year now, and everything works great, except the aforementioned problem. Tech stuff first:
OS: Kubuntu 16.04
KDE Plasma version: 5.5.5
Qt version: 5.5.1
Kernel: 4.4.0-79-generic
Phone: LG K8 (LG-K350n)
So - either using MTP, KDE connect, or Bluetooth - I cannot connect to my phone in any way. While trying to connect via MTP, I get 'Could not enter folder 'my phone name' '. When trying to use KDE connect, as in entering the folder through Dolphin, Dolphin just crashes. However, I can send files from my phone using KDE Connect without any problems.
Help a noob out?
