Show Notes

I am one of the bog standard podcasters who uses their show notes as a "blurb" for the episode in question, similar to what you would have at the back of a book.

However, are there any interesting and different uses of show notes? Is there a character limit? Does anyone have blogs/articles/short essays as their show notes?

I do a wrestling pod and have been toying with the idea of a column as well as Libsyn allows this. But maybe I could out that in the show notes?
