Need Advice on my relationship, [18/M] and still pretty shy, dating a [16/F].

I’ve been in a relationship for about a month now. I’m 18 years old dating a 16-year-old Girl, who goes to the same school as I do! Previously wave been really close friends for about 1 and half years until we decided to go give a low maintenance relationship a chance as both of us live very busy lifes. here’s the Issue! We’ve both never considered sex or even very sexual contact an option between us. It just bothers me as I really want to go further even if its just kissing or holding each other. What has been bothering me is she isn’t a person who makes the first move easily or will make the first thing regarding anything even holding hands (which we haven’t done). I’m personally quite shy and struggle to make the first move or even become more romantic with her as she usually swipes it aside or just like doesn’t say much towards my compliments… In the past we’ve gone out a lot and had an amazing time with her, but there has just never been any notion to do anything beyond having a friend/ girlfriend. I just don’t know if I should make a move or she might reject it, as I see myself as quite a better lower self-esteemed than her and quite a bit uglier than her. I know she’s always valued my personality a lot more than my looks. Personally, I love her for who is she is and she’s an incredible looking girl, I couldn’t consider myself more lucky. I’m just not sure what to do next as I don’t want to lose her and try and be together as possible as life without her is unimaginable.
