giant trance 2 or stumpjumper 650b

getting close to buying a bike so far these 2 have my must haves.. 1×11 gears dropper post both bikes I can get around 2,700 to 2,500 to me that's still kind of over priced but if you want a full suspension bike I guess you have to pay.. I also will be riding the bike to work as well I did notice that the gaint lock out really seemed to lock out the front socks better than the stumpjumper but the tiers seem better on the stumpjumper the giant feels really nice but I also have to think resale value as well and stumpjumper might have that one beat. any have some thoughts if you are deciding on these 2 or even others that might be better around the same price.
