Low FPS on PS4

Just picked up a physical copy of Prey and I've been witnessing some low FPS gameplay ever since (talking about 20-25 FPS). Especially during battles, the framerate may drop even more, which makes the whole experience unpleasant and the game almost unplayable. This saddens me because the game looks very promising and really suits my taste. Isn't this game supposed to be running on steady 30 FPS? Is anyone else facing the same issue?
