[beta] Did the recent patch ruin the performance for anyone else?

Before the support-gem patch PoE run smoother than ever before. Now I can't even hit 60 fps to save my life and going to the "sounds" options freezes my game, trying to change a sound slider is also accompanied by freezing or getting kicked out to login-screen. Game also starts slower than before (steam client).

Also latency went up significantly.

Anyone else experience this?
