Compensating for not having a 'footballer's' body
Basically im quite a short and slight youth player about 172cm and 65kg, playing in Australia. The games rely a lot on physicality (and i do see myself as tough, i kind of have to be) and i feel i can match or be a cut above in skill in every game. I find a big problem in my game is adjusting from small-sided, small field to the full-size pitch games, mainly having trouble covering the pitch efficiently or powerfully. Either tracking as the ball is swung around, or getting to loose balls, i feel like a step behind. I'd love to get some opinions from players who generally aren't built like a perfect, agile and powerful football player, how and what they trained to get better. (I know that there really isn't a perfect footballers build and skill can take you much further than the physical can)
