Progress around the half-way mark

It's scary how much can change in such a short time, here are a few of mine since starting this challenge just over a fortnight ago:

  • Strength: I can do more pushups than ever before, I have noticed physical changes (improvements.)
  • Prioritisation: I know my weaknesses, I now get stuff done asap / first thing...starting with pushups
  • Personal presentation: I cut my own hair weekly now, my beard is maintained at least weekly: this used to be a monthly thing at best. I've chucked out a lot of ill-fitting/damaged clothing and without being 'that guy', I have noticed I tend to dress a notch better (more formal?) than many others around me in many situations.
  • Organisation: I'm in the final stages of finally sorting out my home, something I've put off for over a decade. I secretly didn't think this would be possible within a year.
  • Perspective: The minimalism challenge (Toss it) has made me realise how much of a prison things are, odd how the accumulation of stuff is generally seen as a sign of progress/wealth...I'd be better off without much of the stuff I own (if not just in terms of finance.)
  • Purpose: Scary to think that I, who would identify as ambitious, recognised I was listless, this challenge has helped me identify this and with more pride, organisation, and a sense of perspective I realise that so many options are available, right down to emigrating.

So much, and in such a short time (cheers u/TheFamilyAlpha !). I still fear reverting back to my old ways, which is why I'm sticking to the pushups in a near biblical fashion.

Has anyone else had similar results / revelations?
