New Meta Tristana Build
I have been testing a variety of build paths and mastery set ups for Tristana over the last few patches and I believe I have found a way to make our beloved champion not only viable, but also sleeper OP.
RUNES
- AS Quints
- AD Marks
- Armor Seals
- MR/Level or Attack Speed Glyphs
MASTERIES
- 18/0/12
- Warlord's Bloodlust, Explorer (Resolve)
SKiLL ORDER
- R>E>Q>W
- Max E until you get your ult then max Q
ITEM BUILD PATH
- Doran's Blade or Shield
- BF Sword
- Zeal and Boots or IE if ahead
- Static Shiv
- IE
- RFC or PD
- Last Whisper
- Bloodthirster or Death's Dance if PD instead of RFC
- Sell Boots for GA
The point of this build is to use the massive sustain from Warlord's crits to make lifesteal an unnecessary purchase until late game. This also allows you to hit a massive 3 item power spike without significantly sacrificing late game power. IE RFC Shiv is insanely overpowered with Tristana's all in combo. Warlord's and Explorer's move speed boosts also help you get a few extra autos on your E that you wouldn't otherwise be able to get in lane.
The purpose of leveling E until your Ult is ready is to help your lane phase, but since most of E's level bonus is weighted heavily on a scaling BONUS AD ratio it becomes less important to level until you finish your IE. Even then, Tristana's Q scales incredibly well with crit chance. A 110% attack speed steroid is nothing to scoff about while you build your crit items. Also I found that maxing E too fast made it frustrating to CS under the turret or freeze a lane.
I recommend trying this out before you dismiss it. Fervor BotRK rush is straight up terrible and hurricane doesn't synergize nearly as well as RFC Shiv. Those 600 bonus magic damage crits with a warlord's heal are a disgusting sight to behold with a max stacked E. Dont even get me started on the max E stack Shiv RFC turret procs.
EDIT: Cody Sun followed this setup. I believe it is time to change our cores.
