Interviews about A.D. list

I'm currently watching interviews with cast and I will edit this post as I watch. Here's a list of what actors say about the finale, A.D. and their reactions.

 

Reaction to reveal:

• Janel reaction:

shocked and impressed, "brilliant writing in this finale"

• Ashley reaction:

"wait, what? really? like... there's no way, I didn't even know it was possible" "very shocking"

• Shay reaction:

"what? no way, no way!"

• Ian reaction:

shocked, "oh yeah, that makes sense"

• Tyler reaction:

"when I found out I was really stoked"

• Lucy reaction:

Thought she was gonna find out at table read but heard that Drew (Jason) knew and found out from him, she thought it was "brilliant" "so smart" "it's good" "you guys are really gonna be happy" she thought she's gonna be disappointed but she wasn't.

• Brendan reaction:

surprised, thrown off, at first it didn't make total sense, then he read the script

• Troian:

excited "a perfect ending for this mystery", fans will be excited

 

On finale:

• Sasha:

"Marlene pulled everything together" "you get all your answers", scary but enjoyable, "a bit of a love letter to the fans"

• Shay:

"it was huge, we all couldn't believe it" "it's amazing"

• Ian:

Talking about Grinch...

• Keegan:

It's shocking, fans will flip out

• Lucy:

"You get everything that you've been wondering about", there's a happy ending

 

On A.D.:

• Marlene:

"it's someone you have seen"

• Ian:

"it's not some random" "this person you've seen before" "people are gonna be satisfied" "people on twitter will be like 'how could you do that to us'"

weird thing - interviewer says "...beautiful wedding which I hope will happen" Ian: "Suuuuure" - in a really squeeky voice

• Ian:

Talking about pancakes...

• Ian:

"It will turn out well", fans will be satisfied to a point, "right when it seems like it's gonna be really great it might do a little *hand gesture meaning things will go downhill"

• Ian:

Talking about A.D. being R2D2...

• Lucy:

"A is a lot closer than we think you guys" "it's nuts" she kind of laughed at the idea about Paige being A

• Brendan:

it goes way back to first seasons

• Ian:

"I read it and I was like, I don't buy this ... It wasn't until we had shot and wrapped... I was driving home on my last day, slightly tear-eyed, and it landed on me, who and what this whole thing was, and I kind of went, gasp, like, in the car, in traffic."
