we were going to marry and now I am helpless.
Hi, My boyfriend of 4 years broke up with me 2 weeks ago. The moment he broke up I begged him not to and wanted to fix things. He blocked me in everything so I decided to keep quiet for a while. But after a week I found out that he is seriously ill and hospitalised (nothing to do with me or the breakup). So like anyone would do , I went to see him. He got really mad when he saw me and asked me to leave. He said he has already told everyone in his family that we are done so don't even bother to come see him again . I was really embarrassed and hurt so I just left . It's been about a week and heard nothing from him since. I know that I am partly responsible for the break up because I nagged him so much the last 6 months and never understood when he is tired always forced him to go out with me and things like that... he told me if that continues he will break up with me but when he says that I get even more mad and nag more. I even called his office and scolded him and his boss heard . That's when he couldnt take it anymore and finally broke up .
I understand my mistake now . I sent him a text the day before I went to the hospital to see him, saying I'm sorry and I realise the mistakes I did . Also I know that he is really scared of his parents and the fact that he already told them we broke up means there's no going back for him. But we shared so many good memories during the 4 years and we had so much future plans too. He is the type of guy who breaks up a lot and when I say sorry and when I give him attention he would come back. But do I really have a choice this time ? I love him so much and I can't imagine a life without him. My parents were so looking forward for our wedding too. I still haven't told them that we broke up. I have a feeling that even if I try the no contact rule for a month will he ever talk to me again because he has so much pride, anger and ego. Please help me , I feel lost and helpless. I keep thinking about the memories we shared for years. What should I do? p.s- He is 30 years and I am 25 years. (we share the same birthday btw)
