This DLC and T2 Drama Has Really Hit Me In The Feels

I have been playing R☆ games since GTA3 was released and I have always loved their games, completting 100% on GTA3, VC, SA 4 and 5.

I got into online as it was the first GTA where i could pay as my own designed character, and had always wanted to do that. I have been playing online since release mainly alone like an RPG type game. I have generally loved it and even bought the ocasional shark card cause fuck it, I have desposable income.

I loved most DLC's, completed CMM with some locals, and when I/E was released, they made the grind so easy I got everything I ever wanted. Even saved 40mil 4 Gun Running. Upon GR's releases and 20mil later, I am having an existential crisis. I have all this money, no idea what to do and my thoughts on R☆ are rapidly changing .

Many posts here have suggested Gun Running was a cash grab, and that is what this DLC is. Not only is what you need to spend to access the new content fucken insane (especially if you were a new player) R☆ are doing everything they can to prevent you to earn money.

They removed most methods to do solo public lobbies. Cracked down on mods. Gave rich kids access to greater griefing weapons. And even left us a threatening message about cheating.

R☆ don't want you to make money easily. They force you to play with all the under age players that enjoy fucking people over. They have taylored their business model and marketed it to under age kids that have yet to develop their maturity.

Basically, R☆ and all those lying cunt youtubers are profiting off immature gullable teenagers.

If this is how they will continue to develop and market their games, I refuse to get myself into another 3-4 year online game relationship. R☆ has basically given me the middle finger and said: "fuck you, the way you like to play our game doesn't fit our business model."

Despite my frustration, I am just gutted that a company renound for its attention to detail, continuity and humour have gone down this path. I really hope, but doubt, R☆ and T2's recent actions effect their future profts and reputation.

TLDR: Long time dedicated R☆ fan has everything online, but is a salty cunt due to R☆'s recent tactics.

Edit: People keep commenting about its easy making money don't buy shark cards ETC. Thats not my point.

My point is that R☆ has continuously removed things from GTAO where making money is simple. Remember when they changed Roof top rumble and coverted as they were too profitable?

The problem I have is R☆ doesn't accept a some of their player base want to play alone, and have no desire to buy SC. Yet they make the most profitable ways of making money solo, yet again, this is a multiplayet game!!!

This is all just tactics to get players to spend money.
