PIV is underwhelming for a lot of women isn't it?

I was inspired to make this topic after seeing another woman in this sub say PIV was underwhelming to her. I used to think that there was something wrong with me because I don't get off on PIV and don't find it very interesting or pleasurable. Kind of nice sometimes - but touching the clit and getting cunnilingus wow now we're talking. That's the sexy stuff. There are women who get off on it but most of us don't according to studies. I've read something like 75% don't. TMI but I've once had a "vaginal" minor orgasm from a sex toy. It wasn't at all as satisfying as the usual clitorical though. I didn't feel "done" at all lol.

You can't escape the idea that straight sex must end in PIV anywhere. Porn (of course, it's men's perspective), erotica, mainstream movies, people's general attitudes about straight sex. I was raised with the idea that both the man and the woman would orgasm at the same time from it. Lol. Fairy tales.

Why is this myth spread again and again, even in women's erotica? To make us all feel like we should be that way?
