STD Question!!

I just need a place to vent for a minute!

One of my best friends, and also a bridesmaid, offered to design all of our paper things for our wedding! So amazing and generous and I love her art! But we met to discuss design in mid-April, and now it's 2 months later, and I have only seen a rough sketch.

We're planning on a 10- month engagement, so we wanted to send out STDs asap, but now I feel like it's too late and pointless for our November wedding. We live in different cities, so it's not always the easiest to see one another, but we text all the time and I've mentioned it a few times to her. She says she's almost done. I don't want to come across unappreciative or nagging, but I feel like I'm in a tougher spot with this every day.

Should I give up on STDs? What would you think if you received one 4 1/2 months in advance? It sounds silly even typing that out!
