Few beginner questions

Newbie to the cryptosphere,

First off, seeing as how the price of bitcoin has really shot up the last few months, is it worth it to buy BTC now with my capital of $3000, or should I wait until prices fall considerably down (if at all)

Because from what little I know about BTC, Ive been hearing of something called SegWit coming out in August and how that will greatly help the BTC ecosystem, thus likely increasing the value of BTC and hence there not being a dip in value for quite some time

And also I was reading the sticky for BTC newbies, and I noticed that one way to earn BTC is under advertising in coinzilla, is that a scam or will they pay you a worthwhile amount for clicking on ads??

Lastly Ive been looking to get a Trezor hardware wallet but it seems like they are on backorder until August on their official site, but Amazon third parties are offering it now, is it worth it to wait to order from the actual website for fraud-proofing purposes? And until I get my hands on one what is a safe software alternative for a wallet?
