Useless players

After playing solo for ages i decided to play public matches on kino. The first match, a guy got the thunder gun first try and proceeded to get 11 downs by 7. The second match, i learnt not to link the pad to the teleporter as your teammates will just leave without you. The third match, by round 27 i had 34 revives with 0 downs, my team mates left to PAP with 2000 points, one player swapped the thunder gun for the kuda and another got ephemeral enhancement to PaP the xm53 and downed himself. By round 30 i gained another 10 revives so i decided to let them die next time and they left. If they didnt leave i would. Why cant i find decent players?
