Waving through a window theory

Ok so quick back story I am the oldest of 2 and my sister is younger but amazing! However...

Every time I hear "Waving through a window" I hear...

"But every SON doesn't rise, and no one tells you where you went wrong".

Am I alone in thinking this? Especially as it's sung from the son of a mother...
