"Let me pass I'm faster"

Not directed at me, I hear this often in road races.

If the pass is for position and the guy or girl is not blocking (actual blocking not staying on the race line) then pass them if you're faster, if you can't pass them you're not faster.

It's far easier to follow than to lead. Shut up and race!
