Is anyone else really on edge about the modern day?

I'm so anxious because I don't want the beginning of the game to be like Unity where we wake up from the Animus and I'm expecting some new modern day and all exciting but it's just cutscenes. I literally get anxiety just thinking about it. How do you guys feel about it? What are your hopes and what are you dreading? Discuss.
