Moving to Brandon for school

Hi there, I'm moving here from calgary, and honestly I've never heard of this city until I applied to the university. I really can't find much online about stuff to do here so, I figured I'll just ask the locals. Is there any like gaming/anime group kinda meetups? Those are pretty much my only hobbies at the moment. Also I want to start up Muay Thai/ Boxing, are there any good places to do that in Brandon? Are there any cool places to go on road trips to? Also if any students from Brandon University could answer me, I'm building an arcade machine from scratch and I was wondering if it would be allowed in the dorms.
