Loyalty programme

Hello. I've been a member for almost 2 weeks now (started playing roughly 3 or 4 weeks ago) and it says I'll get a total of 4500 loyalty points at end of my 1 month membership. Question is, is there a way to get more loyalty points or is it a set amount? People I've asked say they get about 10k points a month. I want to recolour my top hat and it costs 6000 points and I'll have a total of 5000 points, do I have to wait another month for the remaining 1000 points? Thank you in advance.
