[Advice] What do you do to feel more beautiful?

[Question]

A lifetime of my Nmom's criticism of my appearance, weight, and body has led me to hate how I look. I think I am ugly and fat and lumpy and that I'm too ugly for men I find attractive to find me attractive. My therapist says I have body dysmorphic disorder and we are slowly working on it but this is a big doozy of a target. I just don't want to feel inferior all the time over how I look. I just want to feel normal... even... dare I say... I hope one day I may think I even look attractive???

Anyway, I'd love to know if there are things you do that make you feel more attractive or beautiful. If you went through similar things I went through, or had Nparents that criticized your appearance, what did you do to gain confidence? Any advice for me?

(EDIT: Just one thing -- not looking for weight loss tips. Medically speaking, I'm in the middle of the healthy weight range for my height. Dealt with some disordered eating in the past and don't want to enter that phase again. Right now I would really want to be able to accept my body for the weight it is instead of thinking I'm too fat because I'm not a size 2, so I would love to hear if you have tips for body acceptance!)
