The Psychopath

If you truly understand the psychopath, there should be no confusion to what is going on; psychopaths are without conscience and are pathological liars. What Trump is doing is throwing his own people under the bus, including his attorney general, blaming him for being investigated. Look at Trump’s interview with Holt. He has no loyalty for anybody. As I have been saying repeatedly, the psychopath’s bottom line is power, manipulation and control. You back them into a corner, so they can’t maneuver, and you can see them start to fall apart, as we are now seeing with Trump. It’s political, remember that Trump as president has the power to pardon anyone who has been found guilty of a crime. The House and Senate are controlled by the Republicans and they will not impeach Trump unless something very serious is found against him and his minions, like espionage or treason etc. That is why impeachment is not a clever idea until after the 2018 election and if the House and Senate are flipped. Those who want to impeach Trump want it for emotional reasons which is not a good rational motivation. Think about it. Psychopaths know how to manipulate you emotionally, and where you are vulnerable (many are found in politics, religion (sexual predators), business and other areas, where power, manipulation and control is the bottom line. Extensive research of psychopaths has shown, that there is a disconnect between language, emotion and arousal, and there are deficiencies in the limbic system of the brain, the amygdala, which in part regulates emotion. Listen carefully to a psychopath, what they say, how they say it and the emotion or lack thereof behind what they say. If you have no critical thinking skills, you are lost. This is how and why Trump can succeed with his base. They will not change unless they realize that they have allowed themselves to be conned. Even then, many of them will not admit that they were wrong, and will not leave and denounce Trump, because many are poorly educated, authoritarians and want and need a “strong daddy”. As P. T. Barnum once said, “There is a sucker born every minute.” William B. Secor, Ph.D. Reference: www.hare..org
