What gives? I haven't been approved yet..

So I signed up for Upwork as a freelancer today. 100% completed profile, verified, tests completed, the works. However, I'm still not able to get myself approved. I contacted Help, and they informed me of changing up my skills to those that are less in supply. I did that, and still, I get denied.

Am I just going to have to wait this out? The reason they said I wasn't approved was that my skillset is too saturated on the platform, but I don't buy it. I changed up my skillset (still remaining true to my field) yet no approval. Anyone have any suggestions?
