Upscale to 4K from PC in 4K Resolution

Hi. I bought KU6000 few days ago and have question about upscaling. If i have connected PC to TV in 4K resolution, when i play movie from PC (WMP or YT) in 1080p is it upscaled from 1080p to 4k resolution? Or it's have to be set to 1080p as source?
