Just reinstalled the game after a loooong time. Feeling a bit lost. Anyone willing to suggest something to get back on track?

Hi guys!
I backed Hex's Kickstarted during its first days... but due to time constraints, family reasons and so on I got very little time for the game.
I played a bit when the first part of the campaign came out but stopped before finishing it (I do remember something about piranhas haunting me in my dreams).
I just reinstalled, and I found out that three sets have come out, a fourth one is soon to be released, and many things have changed (socketing, just the name one).
Is there anything I can do to get back on track?
I plan on playing mostly PvE... and I have some gold and plat laying around in my account, so I can try some stuff, and I think I have most cards from sets 1-2 and quite a few from set 3 (no cards for PVP from sets 4, 5, and 6, however).
