Problem launching a game

I bought a used copy of Doom. It installed fine and I downloaded the update at a friend of mine due to my bandwith limits. When I try to launch it I get the error code 0x8027025. Tried to reboot my Xbox, but same thing happened. Uninstalled it afterwards and due to my bandwith limits I can't download the 30gb update. It prompts me with the update and then same error code. When I did install the update at my friends place my Xbox drive was pretty full and it as about 96% used afterwards.

Do you think that it is something wrong with the copy of the game I bought or maybe I have to try to install the update again when I have freed up some hdd space?
