Strange unicode chars when using [Alt Gr]
Hey there,
I have a strange issue with the key [Alt Gr]. First things first: I use windows (7 & 10) on 4 different machines. Desktop computer, laptop from work, personal laptop and tablet.
The following 'bug' is not reproducible by me all the time. There are no steps i can provide with which this bug can be reproduced, but maybe you have an idea.
Description: Sometimes when i use the [Alt Gr] key to type special keys like @, €, [, ... it happens that another unicode char get's inserted. This looks like shown here. Some unicode chars are displayed as emojis in some programs which support emojis.
I assume that it is linked to the possibility of entering unicode chars with [Alt] and NumPad keys.
Has anyone of you ever experienced such behaviour? I am very interested in what i am doing wrong or where the problem comes from.
Thanks in advance, d-rickyy-b
